I aim to change from possibility to result as the adviser of my volunteers’ team.
Definition of an adviser
I am halfway through my age of 30 years old. Let us clarify my vision as an adviser of my organization before give a speech tomorrow in the annual convention.
I made an adviser role in my volunteer group by myself, who is sarcastic and bossy but performs nothing. That is characteristic role among Japanese volunteer groups. Even outfielders may looks me brilliant, actually it is patient and unspectacular work which requires great mind and determination.
I demand my responsibility for results during limited time I can commit my group without standing on the frontline of our interpretation activity. Exactly, I need to reflect my skills which my new occupation requests me into my volunteer group also.
- For any of my occupation and volunteer works, I must think and process positively anytime whatever happens.
- I do not claim for insufficient time and human resources
- Moreover, I have no time to take initiative of driving organization activity like as a past period.
I am facing such issues.
Role of an adviser
Then what I can do during the precious period is inspiring people with passion.
- We create and promote our activity with our independence.
- Our volunteer office is not a service provider, and members are not their customers.
- We stand face-to-face with our aquarium with the both stance of offense and defense.
No one tells me that we need instruction and approach for achievement of such things, even if I communicated only with our members in the field of our activity. Therefore, we originally should share our minds, consider and execute it together and connect to further actions by others. There is no doubt that wonderful members with various talents can produce a drastic chemical reaction.
Necessary attitude
Our conservation and environmental education is a continuous journey. We cannot reach the end. On the other hand, it is not equivalent to that we have an unlimited period, but suggestion to make action immediately and to produce result as soon as possible. The worldwide current of ocean science assign us to hold international aquarium conferences every less than 4 years.
We have no choice at there (based on following minimum compliance and governance). We must not hesitate. If I will make a challenge for that, I can be going to find a clue only with integration of my kingdom which I have constructed in Mathematics, Physics, Education, Technology, Environment, Finance, Non-profit sector, Management science, and every world view including the area which I will enhance in future.
I will never achieve that only with an effort of one-on-one interpretation activity against paying time. Especially, I try to make 100 fold or 1,000 fold outcome when many tasks restrict my commitment into 10 percents of usual. I need to apply some theories of economics.
I desire a personality as an adviser, which I do not finalize continuation and enhancement of our activities only as possibility.
