Current Work (Apr.2026)

I. Founder & Managing Member, OSACANA LLC(2026 – Present)
Organization for Sustainable Action & Change by Aquarium Navigator Ao-pen
Advance the quality and adoption of environmental education in Japan and globally, and equip the next generation to act.

II. Technical supporter in the docent volunteer group at the aquarium in Tokyo (Apr. 2012 – Present).

III. Engaged in IT system development and corporate strategy formulation as an IT engineer and management consultant at a system integration (SIer) company and a financial advisory firm. (Apr. 2015 – Mar. 2026)
Mainly involved in system development projects for financial institutions, including banks, securities, and insurance companies.

IV. Completed MBA Program, Tokyo Metropolitan University Graduate School of Management. (Apr. 2020 – Mar. 2022)
Research Objective: Establishing collective impact from aquariums.

V. Supported the management of derivative trading courses at a financial literacy education company. (Jan. 2023 – Feb. 2024)

VI. Provided pro bono support for student career education programs at an NGO focused on sustainable coexistence. (Feb. 2020 – Mar. 2021)

In particular, I have strengths in the technical area of information technology.

Research Interests

I am interested in the behaviors of people involved with aquariums, and he continues to return insights to society through conference presentations, publications, and talks.
